Day 6 In Oz

Today was the BEST day.  We got to hold baby Cruz "kangaroo style" for about 2 hours.  He got so relaxed the nurse had to turn his oxygen down.  I cannot begin to describe the feeling of being able to hold him for the first time.  But I'll try....PURE JOY!!!  He is getting 5 cc of food...a whole teaspoon every three hours!  The murmur is still there.  His last dose of Lasix was today.  Another echocardiogram will be done in 2 days to see if his PDA has closed.

Daily Adventures:  Went to lunch at Brint's Diner which has been featured on one of our favorite shows, Diners Drive-Ins and Dives.  Three tornadoes spotted on the ground outside of Wichita tonight.  Felt another earthquake around 8:45pm while at the hospital.
