Heard Ric Burgess speak tonight at Oak Mountain (I know it's not called that anymore but it will always be that to me). He said some tough things that people including myself have a hard time hearing. Things like how Christians should live differently, our lives should be different, people should think we are different. And if you are not living for eternity you might be missing it all. If you are calling yourself a Christian, but not obeying God's word....are you a Christian? Tough message but something we all need to hear. I know I get so caught up in daily tasks I am missing things God is trying to communicate to me. I am just not hearing because that is not on my "to do" list for the day. So, what does living different look like (this topic has come to my attention a lot over the last year)....something to think about.
The sermon was followed up by singing. There's just something about God's people singing. Amazing Grace....Mighty to Save.....Revelation Song....all sung under God's night sky. It was a sweet, sweet sound in His ear.
