I will have to admit that this week I had grown nervous in regards to our fingerprint reports. I wanted everything to be ready for our home visit on Tuesday however we had not received them. I planned on calling this week to check on the status but either got busy or was distracted by something else that came up unexpected. So last night when I realized I had not called I became discouraged and upset with myself that I had not made it a priority. However, in God's always perfect timing you can imagine how I felt when I glanced at the mail on the kitchen counter that Mark had thrown down from today's delivery. And there they were, laying right on top! God knew when we needed them and He delivered them right on time. Obviously, when I saw them tears sprung to my eyes. And I immediately had to apologize to God for the worry and unnecessary anxiety I felt this week.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
