We went on our first Christmas vacation this year to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville. It is such a beautiful place. Carter loved riding the train, looking at all the Christmas lights and waterfalls throughout the hotel. Madyson loved the shopping (of course). We ate breakfast with Charlie Brown and Snoopy one morning. We ate dinner at the famous Hickory Grill. Delicious!! Coker slept though that. We went to Charlie Brown Ice (which Coker also slept through). That was my favorite adventure. It's amazing how they make those ice figures. And Madyson went down the ice slide all by herself. She usually will not do things like that if one of us does not go with her but this time she did. We did learn one thing on our trip. Now that we are a family of 5 it is time to get two hotel rooms when we travel. Kinda tight with all of us in one with a pack n play, a stroller and all of our luggage! Lesson learned. It was such a great time to be together as a family and escape the craziness of the holidays even for just a little while. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to making this a new yearly family tradition.
